SCA Best New Product Award 2017: Foam Locus shined at the World Of Coffee in Budapest

Nuova Ricambi team is coming back to Italy very satisfied. We spent three full days of excitement and success at World Of Coffee 2017.

We are very honored to have received recognition from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) for the newest product of our Barista Accessories collection: Foam Locus.

We took part at the Best New Product Award 2017 and together with the designer of the Foam Locus, Tjeerd Schravendeel,  we were awarded the prize as best product in the Commercial coffee preparation and serving equipment category.

Foam locus is the tool with which anyone, with an espresso machine, can easily make great milk cream instantly. During the 3 days of World Of Coffee, Tjeerd held demonstrations on the use of the Foam Locus and a lot of people, including both skilled and less experienced baristas, tried to use it and everyone was excited about the result. We have already launched many collaborations and we were happy to meet each of you at our booth.

 

                                        

 

World of Coffee is a very special event on the European coffee calendar. More than 200 exhibitors were present and every day a lot of visitors crowded the Hungexpo pavilions. In addition, world championships, seminars and workshops made the fair even more interesting.

On the occasion of the World Latte Art Championship we sponsored the Taiwanese champion Giesen Zheng (鄭智 ) who made us feel good emotions. So much satisfaction we have had from the Italian guys. We saw on the podium: Matteo Beluffi (6th place at the World Latte Art Championship) and Simone Cattani (4th place at the Ibrik Championship).

Nuova Ricambi, which is a unique reality, made of people working together with passion, has lived this experience as a confirmation: we are moving in the right direction. Many customers came to visit us and we received a lot of positive feedback also from new contacts. There was much enthusiasm and today we restart with great determination.
